{ Impression Obsession Spring Designer Die Hop Day 2 }

Here is my card.

For this card I repeated the tag from yesterday and changed it up a bit. I am sharing a little video I posted on Instagram on how I made it. I used washi again with Basic Borders 1 and Greeting Banners for the sentiment and the tag. Boy with Flowers is my die cut. I adore him. It reminds me of Alex. The circle is from Circle Sentiments.

{ Impression Obsession Spring Designer Die Hop Day 1 }

Here is my card.

My inspiration was an older card I made using washi tape and Basic Borders 2. I started with a strip of washi tape and then the stamp and repeated the process. I created a tag for the front by tracing a tag on white cardstock and stamping the bottom portion with Greeting Banners. The sentiment is from the same set.
I die cut the Spiral Flowers Large from two different shades of cardstock. I love Therm O Web Zots  Adhesive Dots, Small,they hold these little flowers perfectly. At the end, I added a little bead to the center of each flower.
The leaf is from Hydrangea Set die cut from green cardstock. The butterfly is from Medium Butterflies die set.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–think Spring }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Think Spring.

Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!).  Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between March 5-18. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my card.

I have been in love with this butterfly die called Medium Butterflies. It cuts 9 butterflies all at once, and they are all different. Well, I was working on a different project the other day using Deco Foil. I used iCraft Adhesive sheet by Therm O Web to adhere the patterned paper to the adhesive. The thing about the iCraft Adhesive is that it has adhesive on both sides. Once I die cut the butterflies, I remove the top liner and add glitter, like in this card. You can add so many other things like, foil, beads, flower soft.

For the background I used Scribble Roses. I stamped them with Ranger ink and then added water with a water brush for a softer look. It was still pretty bright so I added a piece vellum over the top. I heat embossed the sentiment from Spring Quotes on top of the vellum. I die cut the Open Scroll Leaf from green cardstock and added the butterflies. At the end I needed more pink and I added Tied Line die cut from cardstock.

{ Gold Deco Foil by Therm O Web }

I am sharing this card and the instructions on how I made it on Therm O Web blog today. I am using several different adhesives  for the Deco Foil. Come and check it out. The new Cianna collection arrived from Elle’s Studio and I couldn't wait to play.
