{ Stuck?!Sketches September }

A created a layout for Stuck?!Sketches September Sketch. In addition to the sketch I am playing along Scrap Our Stash #30 challenge. Definitively digging into my stash here and using some brand new items that arrived from Emma’s Paperie. 

L – labels
A – arrows
Y – yellow, yarn
E – enamel dots
R – rub-ons
S – stickers, silhouette, staples, stars

Elle’s Studio September exclusive kit reveal goes live tomorrow at 10 am CST.

{ Card kit Monday–Just for you - take 2 }

Hi and happy Monday. I have a new card using the brand new Card kit Monday from last week. Last week I included a process video on how I created the card. Did you know that I have a YouTube Channel? You can follow me there.

I kept all the elements except the print and cut sentiment. I stamped the sentiment on the print and cut tag. The stamp set if from Technique Tuesday.  I trimmed some of the oval since I used a sketch from Fusion challenge and it fit better that way. I added some modeling paste with a stencil to the card base and a brad to the butterfly. Pretty simple and fast.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Feathered Friends }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Feathered Friends. My feathered friend today is a bird from Home Sweet Nest stamp set.

Here is my card.

I stamped the background with Starburst Cover-a-card background. Then I stamped the branches with the nest and the bird on watercolor paper and used watercolor crayons to color it all in. Pretty easy and fast. I die cut the scalloped circle that I adhered to the watercolor circle. I splattered pink watercolor crayon over the top. I die cut the banner and stamped it with a sentiment.

{ Technique Tuesday September Release }

It's an exciting day for Technique Tuesday because we are releasing new stamps and dies, and adding a new product designer, none other than Cath Edvalson! Technique Tuesday blog is sharing a video with the new products you can check out. Head to this page on our website to see all the new stamps and steel dies!

Here is a card I created with one of the stamps called Heartfelt Thanks by Cath Edvalson.

I heat embossed the image and applied watercolor crayons to the background. I cut the heart out and adhered it on the card using foam squares. I covered the background patterned paper with gesso and added watercolor crayons, as well.

I will be sharing more projects with the new stamp sets.
