{ Impression Obsession Design Team Thursday }

It’s my turn to share a project I created using Impression Obsession stamps and dies. Today I have a little altered and glittery frame and I only used dies.

The frame was hot pink and I painted it white. I die cut two Spring Wreaths from iCraft adhesive from Therm O Web. It’s sticky on both sides. You peel off the top liner and add glitter and peel off the bottom liner to adhere it. I die cut the Reindeer from iCraft Deco Foil white foam adhesive. It has adhesive on both sides, as well. I added gold Deco Foil. The “peace” is die cut from vellum and adhered to the reindeer.
The frame is about 4 x 4 inches.  I added gold Deco Foil to the frame using iCraft Deco Foil liquid adhesive. I just used a make up sponge to add the adhesive to the frame and then added gold Deco Foil. I love how it turned out.

{ Scraptastic (Thursday) Challenge }

Jennie and I are up on Scraptastic blog with our projects.  We challenged ourselves to create a layout on the diagonal. Now we challenge you.

I am not a diagonal person. at all. This is only my second, ever, layout that I created like this. I like my photos pretty straight or with a little tilt. When creating a layout I start with my base and then I take a strip of patterned paper and adhere it at an angle that I want. After that I follow the same angle with all my embellishments.

I used November Ain’t No Sunshine kit and add-on. This is my fifth layout with the kit, but I still had lots of paper and some embellishments. I did incorporate the digital files and the stamps, as well. To maximize my embellishments, I cut them in half and then tuck them behind other things on the page. The washi and twine are from my own stash.
