{ Pink Paislee Amber Road }

Here are some more of my projects with My Scrapbook Nook September kit. This mini album is the last thing I made. The kit comes with Maya Road chipboard postage book coasters. I cut up the Amber Road postcards...all that I had left and adhered them to each chipboard page. I painted the edges with paint. I embellished each page with Pink Paislee stamps and orange floss. I have so many cute photos from the Pumpkin patch and this was a perfect place for them.
I love the way blue looks with these colors! For the layout I traced the die cut sheet that comes in the kit to this paper. I painted the sticker alphabet, paper and chipboard frame with blue paint. I cut the little houses from patterned paper and painted the edges, as well. I added glitter to the flowers and the frame. The white thickers are from American Crafts and they came in the August kit...still available. I read on Pink Paislee blog that this paper collection is really popular and that they are selling out. Grab this kit so you can have this collection.

I did add the chipboard letters and Amber Road Impression Stamps, I couldn't resist.

How about some Copics? Go see Leah and leave a comment on her blog.

Project 365 - week 35

8.30 - playing with his art easel. He is learning colors. 8.29 - this day was busy and I couldn't pick just one. He was eating blueberries and I got several good photos of the blueberries going in his mouth. I found him a new pool and he was filling it with water! 8.28 - He just woke up from a nap, so cute with his long, messy hair. 8.27 - loves to talk on the phone, even this old one that I keep for emergencies. ...and on the same day at his little desk. He has one more keyboard since I got a new computer and my wireless keyboard does not go with Vista :( 8.26 - playing at my messy desk. 8.25 - I guess he was tired of eating. He gets so fidgety in his high chair and wants to get out. I made chicken soup from scratch that he was learning to eat with a spoon. I guess that was exhausting. 8.24 - silly boy!
