{ Exclusive December kit from Elle’s Studio }

***This is my second post for the day. You can find December Studio AE blog hop in the post below or click HERE.***

Exclusive December kit is out and ready for purchase. There are a variety of tags in this kit perfect for many different occasions coming up. My layout is about a big snow we had in 2011, when Alex learned how to sled down the hill.

Snow by Daniela Dobson

I used a wood veneer snowflake and a snowflake I created in Silhouette Studio tucked underneath it. I didn’t have a computer for a time I was creating this layout and didn’t get a chance to cut some of those beautiful snowflakes that are in December digital cut file. The great thing about the cut files is that you can make them any size you want!!

{ December Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday }

Welcome to our December 2013 Blog Hop. Today we are featuring projects made with  Great Memory - Studio AE - December 2013.
I have been making lots of Christmas cards and layouts and wanted something a little different for this December blog hop. We have been iced in since Thursday and it is really cold outside. This layout brought me back to summer that I can’t wait to get here.

Happiness by Daniela Dobson

I don’t know if you noticed, but I like to mix different stamps (among other things) together. Usually whatever is on my desk. Other times I pick two or three and use bits and pieces from each one. They don’t even have to be “right” for the project.
The page started with the chevron stencil and modeling paste. With the stencil still in place I sprayed the modeling paste with Heidi Swapp color shine. I made the little blue flowers while I was playing with the mold I had ordered from Etsy long time ago. I had bought Martha Stewart white clay and added color shine to it for the color. The flowers were drying and they were perfect for the layout.

{ Reverse Confetti December blog hop }

 Happy by Daniela Dobson
It’s the 8th of the month –Blog Hop time from REVERSE CONFETTI!

Last month’s release was full of holiday magic as well as some gorgeous everyday sentiments. As we look forward to the holidays, it’s now time to start thinking of those small gifts, tags, treats, or just sweet notes of encouragement to spread the “Merry” to our friends, family and coworkers.

The Confetti Crew and a few other pals have designed some great cards and projects to give you just the creative spark you’ll need to make some of your very own RC magic happen!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Amber Hight’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all of Reverse Confetti’s amazing stamp sets!

For my card, I started by embossing polka dots on Kraft paper. I have neglected my embossing folders and pulled them out to use more often. I highlighted the embossed dots by dragging white ink pad over the top.

I used I used So Stripey stamp set to stamp two banners. For the sentiment I combined two stamp sets, Lots to Say and Bring On The Merry. I stamped them on white cardstock and cut the parts I needed.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge–Let it snow }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Let it snow.

Our challenge starts today, December 5, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, December 11, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between December 5-11. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my card.

Merry wishes by Daniela Dobson

I had so much fun making this card and it didn’t take me that long at all. I stamped my background with a Cover-a-card Dotty Circles, my older CAC, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. There is a Cover-a-card Snowflakes stamp and I linked it in my supplies, but I wanted something different.

I die cut the Cutout Christmas Tree die four times in different color cardstock. The little ornaments are easy to fill in. For the garland I added some gold glitter.

I die cut the Sm. Snowflakes from white cardstock and added a gold pearl to the centers.

Merry wishes close by Daniela Dobson

That is all from me. Make sure you check out what the rest of our DT created.

I hope you play along.
