{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – You are my sunshine }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – You are my sunshine!

Our challenge starts today, April 3, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, April 9, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between April 3 - 9. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my card.

This sentiment is perfect for our challenge today. What do you think? I stamped the flowers from On your birthday stamp set and colored them with watercolor pencils. The white background is stamped with Splatter 2. The little butterflies are from an old set called Butterfly Bliss.
I stamped the sentiment and cut it out. I used Therm O Web 3D squares for the sentiment. The pennant is die cut and stamped.

{ April Studio AE }

April is here, which means we are ready to show off our latest Studio AE stamp set.

Our Good Times - Studio AE - April 2014- is out and I wanted to share a card I made with the set.

Watercolor paper, watercolor and lots of stars. The sentiment is stamped with new Heidi Swapp ink from Michaels, love it!

{ April Sketch For You To Try }

Hi and welcome to our April sketch challenge.

Here is my card.

Pretty easy and simple card for today. I stamped various stripes from So Stripey and cut them out. The flower is from Petals ‘n Posies and I added an enamel dot to the center. I added a banner with the sentiment from Beautiful Banners.

{ Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Die Hop–Day 3 }

Welcome to Day 3 of the Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Die Hop! It’s our last day and I have seen lots of new faces. Thanks so much for stopping by to visit!

Not really sure where I was going with this card, but this is how it came out. I think I like it. I started by die cutting the Alphabet Typewriter and a piece of white cardstock. The die comes in one piece like that. There are several different font dies you can check out HERE. I die cut a pink piece of cardstock as a mat and used a border die from Border Duo 1.
The chevron is a piece of cardstock that I used as my card base. For the scalloped circle I used Circle Shaker Frame die. I love that “happy birthday” font. I added some pearls and some twine and you have a card. I did use a SC481 sketch for this card.

{ Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Die Hop–Day 2 }

Today I used my Riding Pretty stamp set with a coordinating die. I have to tell you, I love this die!!! I Can’t remember how many times I cut this bike out with scissors. I will link up some other cards using this set at the end of this post if you want to take a look.
I used watercolor crayons to color the image. Nothing too elaborate here. I did add some glitter to the flowers. Pretty simple card to brighten someone's day.
