Here is my card for Sketch this: 52. This was my first attempt at machine stitching on my card. What do you think? Not as easy as I thought, it will take some practice. Hand stitching, I have done before. I thought the owl needed a little pink. Patterned paper and rub on is Al Fresco from Tinkering Ink. The large journaling stamp is from Impression Obsession. Owl stamp is Inkadinkado. I got it last weekend at JoAnns. Prima flowers and Making Memories tiny alphas. I took a close up photo of the owl so you can see that I added some glitter to its body. I was a little glitter happy last night. Check out the second card.
In addition to glitter happy I was pink happy. This card was made for CPS #66. I wanted to make a circle card, but it was really late and it didn't work out. The large scalloped circle is a stamp (that I love) from Impression Obsession, called Circle Elements #1. You can see it used here, too. I cut a smaller circle out of patterned paper (Pink Paislee) to fit inside. Maya Road sheer office note. Little owl came from Sassafras Lass patterned paper that I cut out. Of course, I couldn't resist adding glitter to her eyes. American Crafts photo corners, Love Elsie rub-ons. It's amazing how many things you can find (that you forgot about) while cleaning. Guess who is eating rice cereal? I was so surprised last week when the doctor said (at his 4 month well checkup) that he can start eating. It was really funny at first, but now he figured it out and is eating like a champ. He thinks it's funny so he laughs. It's really messy. The other two photos are just some of my favorites. I have been putting sunglasses on him while we go out to get the mail. He is just so cute. He loves to talk and laugh. Last weekend he rolled over for the first time and I got it on video!!!!
OK, I think that is all for tonight. I have to go finish watching Lost.

ReplyDeleteSo cute! LOVE the cards, and what adorable photos of Alex! Isn't starting food too funny?? Haven't done that with Courtney yet - I'm hoping to wait until 6 months, just bc nursing exclusively is just so much easier at this point (with a toddler and all)! But Courtney is really starting to look at us with envy when we're eating, so I may not be able to make her wait that long! LOL!
