Welcome to the first-ever Technique Tuesday blog hop!
I’m a Stamping Tech for Technique Tuesday.
Today, the Technique Tuesday Stamping Techs and some of our best friends are joining together to hold this first-ever blog hop to share one of our favorite projects made with Technique Tuesday’s stamps.
The hop begins on Teri’s blog. Follow the links after that. If you get lost go back to the start - Teri .
With every comment you leave on the blog path, you’ll be entered to win a Pocket Full of Posies stamp set from Technique Tuesday.
Teri will pick one person at random from all the comments made by midnight Eastern time on 1/24 to win the stamp set. So the more comments you make, the better chance you have to win.
Be sure to check Teri’s blog on 1/25 to see if you are the lucky winner.
Here is my card.
I used Flea Market Finds stamp set for my borders. I used the round shape stamp and stamped on the edge of the paper to create the scalloped border. The butterfly trail is from the same stamp set.
I used Two Steppin' In the Garden for my flower. I cut the flower out and cut between some of the petals for some dimension.
The sentiment is stamped with the fonts from Start Me Up Addison stamp set.
The Technique Tuesday chipboard butterfly is from Fundamentals of Flowers that I embossed with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I added little ink over the top to make the dots stand out.
The next stop (your last) is ---->>>>> TERI

ReplyDeleteI love your card! I always view your work through IO one of my favorite stamp companies. I am so glad that you also introduced me to Technique Tuesday, they have so many great stamp sets, as I have see throughout the blog hop. My local stamp shop does carry them but not that much, I will have to suggest they carry more of them. Anyway, back to your card. I love how you used the set to make your borders, really neat idea! And the idea of using the scroll design to show the butterflies flight is fabulous! Really wonderful colors also. Thank you for sharing.
