Daniela Dobson – Clearsnap ***you are here***
Today I am sharing with you how to make this little gift box and the gifts inside.
I started by making the chocolates. I used Snowflakes Lollipop Mold, Sprinkles and White Chocolate. Make chocolate snowflakes according to package directions, except don't add the lollipop sticks. These are so easy and fast. I made a lollipop hearts bouquet several years ago, another wonderful gift idea.
Now, the box.
1. Cover the snowflake chipboard with Clearsnap ColorBox Pigment Stamp Pad: Frost White. No paint needed here. This is how white this pad is.
2. Sprinkle with Clearsnap Top Boss Embossing Powder: Opalescent Clear and heat emboss.
3. Spray the snowflake with Clearsnap Smooch Spritz: Silver Foil. Set aside.
4. Lay 5 pieces of tissue paper (I used 4 x 5 inches). Accordion fold and tie with The Twinery Baker's Twine: Stone in the center. Cut the ends into a point. I had some tulle laying around so I added some of that, as well. Gently fan out each side and pull all the layers up, starting with the top layer. You don't have to be perfect.
5. Spray the flower with Clearsnap Smooch Spritz: Silver Foil.
6. Make a little pom pom by wrapping twine around your fingers. Tie in the center and snip the loops.
7. Adhere the pom pom to the flower center. Adhere the flower to the snowflake base.
8. Measure the top of your box and cut cardstock to fit. I left about 1/8 inch edge all the way around.
9. Stamp the cardstock with Clearsnap ColorBox Pigment Stamp Pad: Silver and Jumbo Rollagraph Stamp Wheel: Simple Dots using Clearsnap Jumbo Rollagraph Self-Inking Handle and Clearsnap ColorBox Stamping Guide. Adhere to the lid using Sticky Strip Runner by Therm O Web
10. Adhere SuperTape 1/4" by Therm O Web around the lid.
11. Add The Twinery Baker's Twine: Stone around the lid using tape as a guide. Start at the top and work your way down. Cut twine between rows.
12. Spray white tag with Clearsnap Smooch Spritz: Silver Foil. Die cut snowflake. Add Clearsnap Glue Gloss to the snowflake and sprinkle with Clearsnap Fairy Dust Glitter: Sugar Shimmer.
14. Cut Parchment Paper to 4 1/4 x 10 inches. Fold in half and machine stitch the sides. That is the size I needed for these chocolate snowflakes, but you can make any size that you need. Place snowflake chocolate in each bag, fold at the top and tie with The Twinery Baker's Twine: Stone.
I added tiny pearls to the snowflake with Zots For Bling Adhesive Dots by Therm O Web. I adhered the snowflake to the box using Zots Adhesive Dots by Therm O Web.
I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial.
Cheers to creating gifts from the heart this holiday season!
Happy Hopping!
