{ The Cameo Spotlight Challenge #3 }

Hi, and welcome to The Cameo Spotlight challenge #3: color.

Here is my card and and free Silhouette Studio files.

I created the card in Silhouette Studio with the star cutout. I stamped blue cardstock with Cover-a-card Knit stamp from Impression Obsession and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. That is what is peeking through the star opening. I did the same thing with the numbers on the green cardstock. The numbers are from Tickets stamp set from Impression Obsession.

For “birthday” I used BrannbollSmal font. Boy is stamped with Impression Obsession Swirl Lower stamp set. I hand cut the letters and adhered a star in the center of the “o” and used 3D Foam Square from Therm O Web.

The star border, created by me, is colored with ColorBox Wheatgrass ink and adhered to the card using 3D Foam Square from Therm O Web.

{ Free Cut Friday }

It's that time again, Free Cut Friday on The Scrap Review blog. I created another set of files – 3 folding tabs. I didn't create anything with them yet, but our DT member Paula Gilarde created some adorable cards.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge: Favorite quote/saying }

Hi and welcome to another Impression Obsession challenge.
Our next challenge, "Favorite quote/saying", starts today, September 6, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, September 12th, at 10 PM.

Create a new card using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between September 6- 12. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

I am pretty sure you have see ALL our NEW dies at Impression Obsession. If you haven’t you need to go look now -------> Click here to see new dies.

I used several of those new dies here today!!! Love them. My favorite are these Leaves. I die cut the leaves and inked the edges with Toffee ink. I adhered the leaves using 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web. I stamped the sentiment of white cardstock and cut it out. The base paper is cut with Border Duo 2 die.

{ The Scrap Review - Mini 8 Punch }

I recently had a chance to review Mini 8 Punch - Vine by We R Memory Keepers…you can go to The Scrap Review blog for all the details. It was my first time using the punch and I really like it.

{ Technique Tuesday September Studio AE }

Hello September! Time for our September Studio AE stamp set called Celebrate Fall. I had so much fun creating with this set.

Here is my layout.

Playing with some new papers that were released at CHA Summer…My Mind’s Eye Lost & Found Halloween collection and The Sweetest Thing collection. Love the colors. The chevron background is from a template that I created in my Silhouette Studio and sprayed with mist. Love all the handwritten words that come in this set.

Here is one more layout I created using some of the NEW Technique Tuesday stamps, for Technique Tuesday blog. 

Once again, I created a template in my Silhouette Studio, this time with triangles. I used my watercolor crayons to color each triangle to create the background.  I used Story Cards as backgrounds for my photos. The words with arrows are from Cute by Ali Edwards stamp set.
I designed the border below and cut it with my Silhouette. I colored it with an ink pad and stamped polka dots from Passion for Polka stamp set.

I stamped the sentiment from Life Circles and completely cut out out with my exacto knife. The stars are painted with watercolor crayons, as well.
