{ Exclusive March kit from Elle’s Studio }

Exclusive March kit is out and ready for purchase.

Here is my layout.

Lucky by Daniela Dobson

I just want to say that I love that each kit coordinates so well with all the other Elle’s Studio products. Here, I used Everyday Moments paper collection. I love green. The wood veneers are from Everyday Moments and they go really well with all my sponged on stars. Therm O Web Zots for Bling are perfect to add the wood veneers. I used Heidi Swapp mask and some ink to add them to the white cardstock. It gives them that soft glow.

The flair is from {A Flair For Buttons} and it coordinates perfectly with all my shades of green. I did add a little snippet label from Cameron collection.

{ Reverse Confetti–March Release Blog Hop }

Hello Reverse Confetti friends! Winter may be trying to hold on for dear life, but with the hopes of spring right around the corner, there’s a fresh new release from REVERSE CONFETTI! There are 6 new stamp sets and 5 new Confetti Cuts Dies (some of which coordinate perfectly with a few of the stamp sets, too). Today, we’re hoping to put a “spring in your step” with our new release Blog Hop! The Confetti Crew, Challenge Crew and a few of our friends have sprung into action with some fabulous projects to share this month using the newest RC products. Hop along with us and catch “spring fever”!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Lisa Addesa’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!

For this card I used Petals ‘n Posies stamps set. I added some enamel dots to the centers. The banner is from Beautiful Banners stamp set.

For my next card I used Class Act stamp set.

I stamped the alphabet on my white cardstock. Some of the letters are filled in with watercolor pencil.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Amy Kolling’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…

March SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY is open for you to play along. Click HERE for a chance to win. AND, be on the lookout for a NEW COLOR challenge on March 16th for another way to win!

Celebrate the creative side of you!

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – In my garden }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – In my garden!

Our challenge starts today, March 6, and continues to the following Wednesday evening, March 12, at 10 PM.

Create a new project using  Impression Obsession stamps and post it on Impression Obsession Blog, between March  6 - 12. A winner will be chosen randomly to win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Right now there is nothing in my garden. We had snow and below freezing temperatures on Monday. I wish the warm weather would return and I had flowers in my garden.

Here is my card.

Thanks by Daniela Dobson

Yes, I am using the same set from two weeks ago: Bunch of Blossoms stamps and dies. I used the colors from the background patterned paper as my color inspiration for the flowers. For the circle I used Circle shaker frame die and then stamped and die cut the Large Solid Leaf Stem. All the links for the stamps and dies are at the bottom of my post.

I used SC474 for my card.

I wanted some dimension on my word so I die cut the sentiment three times and glued them all together for some height.

That is all from me. Make sure you check out what the rest of our DT created.

I hope you play along.

{ March Studio AE }

March is here, which means we are ready to show off our latest Studio AE stamp set.

Our Wow - Studio AE - March 2014 - is out and I wanted to share a card I made with the set.

Well done by Daniela Dobson

I stamped one of the sentiments on white cardstock and cut it out. I layered it over Steel Die – Photo Frame die with 3D foam squares from Therm O Web. I added the stars from the stamp set to the bottom of the frame. I embellished the card with some new Heidi Swapp acrylic stars and gold stickers from Michaels. The star banner is Color Magic large pennant that I sprayed with Tropicana Teal color shine.

{ March Sketch For You To Try }

Hi and welcome to our March sketch challenge.

Here is my card.

I used So Stripey to create a stamped strip of patterned paper. I just love how it turned out. I wish I took a photo of it before I cut it down. I used yellow, pink, green and blue to stamp all the different stripes in the stamp set. The sentiment is from Paper Crane stamp set and I stamped it on a die cut circle that is layered over a punched scalloped circle. I had enough of that stamped strip left over to cut out a butterfly.

If you would like to play along, and I hope you do, here is the sketch. Click on the photo and it will take you to the Reverse Confetti blog where you can find a full list of participants.
