{ CR84FN Color Challenge 36 and Card Patterns sketch 129 }

Here is a quick card I made for CR84FN color challenge and Card Patterns sketch challenge.

I used Technique Tuesday Out of This World stamp set with chipboard star. All the links are posted below. I colored the space man with watercolor crayons to match the card colors. I cut him out and used 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web to adhere him to the star.
I found a box of my old decorative scissors and decided to use them again. Love that edge. I adhered the chipboard star with Zots Adhesive Dots by Therm O Web.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge - Hostess gifts }

Hello and welcome to another Impression Obsession DT challenge. Make a card (or a project) using Impression Obsession stamps and post a link to your creations on our challenge post at Impression Obsession blog. If you play you could win a $25 gift certificate to the Impression Obsession store.

Here is my little gift set.

I used a Cupcake Box with a lid from The Cutting Cafe. The lid had a frame cutout. I lined the lid with a piece of embossed vellum that I adhered with Vellum Adhesive by Therm O Web. I covered the box with Echo Park patterned paper and fun little trim from Prima.

The little cupcake is from Create-a-Cupcake CL228 stamp set (see below for links). I stamped the cupcake on cardstock that was stamped with Cover-a-card Distressed Dots CC046 with Clearsnap ColorBox Archival Dye Ink: Mermaid. I folded the cardstock in half and then cut around the stamped cupcake. That left me with a perfect cupcake gift tag.
The Silhouette 15 D5565 butterflies are stamped with Clearsnap ColorBox Premium Dye Ink: Guava, layered together and stitched with pink floss and a button.

The box is perfect for a cupcake, made by me.

I made a little matching card with the same elements as the box. The ink is so vibrant. I love to stamp an image several times on cardstock to get different shades of the same image. All the paper edges are inked with Clearsnap ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink: Toffee.

I hope you'll take the time to visit the other designer's blogs for inspiration!

{ Mojo Monday 203 }

I want to share a card that I made using brand **NEW stamps** from Technique Tuesday called Friends Through Thick and Thin.

There is a line and a dot that come in the set and I used that to stamp a border around the paper edges with Clearsnap ColorBox Pigment ink in Cocoa. The chipboard heart is from Fundamental Hearts Technique tiles set. I stamped the friend definition all over the edges and the "friend"  in Cocoa. I used 3D Foam Squares by Therm O Web for the heart and the sentiment.
The chipboard heart is adhered on patterned paper with Sticky Dots Adhesive by Therm O Web. I used my exacto knife to cut away the excess paper. Adhesive Pick-Up Square is perfect to get those extra pieces of glue around the edges.
I adhered the pretty lace with Zots Adhesive Dots by Therm O Web. I tried it last week on rick rack and loved it. I used several medium Zots across the middle and one small one on each end.

I used Mojo Monday #203 for the card.
