{ October 2015 Memory Keepers Studio by Technique Tuesday }

Our October release of Memory Keepers Studio - I Am Thankful and Fresh Cut Studio – Grateful is out and available. I was waiting for the stamp set so I can share my creation, but I don’t have it yet, and that happens sometimes. I only have the Fresh Cut Studio dies. As soon as I get them I will share a project.

I started my background with washi tape that I covered with gesso. I added watercolor crayons. I used Label - DIY Steel Die and die cut a vellum piece with gold polka dots and a piece of white cardstock. I die cut “thankful” and leaves from gold cardstock. I finished the card with sequins and some watercolor splatters. Quick and easy.

{ New Card Kit Monday–Tags and Branches }

Hello and happy Tuesday. I have a brand new kit for you today! This is a card kit, but you can use it on a layout or any other project you choose. The files can be made bigger or smaller as needed. This is a fun card. I am not sure how everyone is using the Card Kit elements, but sometimes I just use the kit and other times I add other bits and pieces.

Here is my card for today.

I just love to incorporate my little bits and pieces and stamps. This time I even added some Flower Soft to the heart. I have used this technique before with the same heart tag. iCraft from Therm O Web works great with this technique. If you don’t have Flower Soft you can use glitter.

The branches are fun, too. They can be used with the flowers that were in Card Kit Monday Banners. I addition, I have some Layered Flowers that can be used, as well.
The stamps are from Impression Obsession: Thank you and French Word Background.

I have some other fun ideas for this kit.

{ Paper Pumpkin Decoration }

I wanted to share a fun little project I created recently after I saw an adorable pumpkin that Gina created for American Crafts. I have been looking for Heidi Swapp Marquee Love Halloween Pumpkin at Michaels, but I never found one. I decided to make my own.

I designed the pumpkin in my Silhouette Studio and cut it out from patterned paper. I hade some Halloween paper and embellishments left over that I purchased at Emma’s Paperie last year. The “boo” and “happy Halloween” are die cuts from Impression Obsession called Boo and Happy Halloween. They are die cut from glitter paper. The little ghost is from Mini Ghosts die.
Elle’s Studio came out with Halloween Acrylics and Glitter Foam pieces that I added to the pumpkin. There is also a Halloween Digital Cut File and I was able to cut some bats from glitter paper.
Everything here is from my stash, some old and some new items. I already added it to my mantle. I am thinking about adding ribbon to the back and maybe hanging it in my dinning room.

{ Card kit Monday–Frames and Leaves–take 3 and a video }

Hi and happy Monday. I have a new card using Card Kit Monday Frames and Leaves. I used a brand new collection from Elle’s Studio – Thankful, again. Don’t forget to check out the brand new October kit.

In addition, I am sharing a project on Elle’s Studio blog today inspired by our new Mini Kit course. I would love it if you check it our.

Here is my card using only leaves from Card Kit Monday Frames and Leaves.

I made this card using a sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #291 and used only the leaves from the kit. I used the sketch feature on my Silhouette Cameo. I have Designer Edition and I am not sure if it is available in regular software. I love it. You can change the sketch settings and fill settings. I really liked the squares. My original plan was to leave the leaves on the paper, but then I ended up cutting them. I used watercolor paper and a black sketch pen from Silhouette. I have a set of 8 colors that I purchased long time ago. I did flip the watercolor paper over to the smooth side for the sketch. I will try the rough side next time as the smooth side was not absorbing the water well.

{ Impression Obsession DT challenge – Feeling Blue }

Hi and welcome to our  Impression Obsession challenge – Feeling Blue.

Here is my card.

I started by stamping the background with Diamond Maze stamp. I die cut two Large Leaf Stems from blue cardstock. I stamped Fall Floral Polaroid wit a sentiment on white cardstock that I cut out and adhered using 3D foam squares from Therm O Web. The sequins are stamped and cut out. I added a few pearls to the card.
