It's finally cold here...it's supposed to be 38 degrees tonight. I was reading the Card Positioning Systems blog and they have a CPS Holiday Special where you pick your favorite past sketch from #1-#42 and make a Christmas/Holiday card. I picked CPS #20 and made this card. The snowflake stamp is from Impression-Obsession. There is a big sale going on right now, you can't miss it. All the clearance items are 50% off. If you like this snowfake stamp, well, it's on sale.
I stamped the snowflake on my white background paper and then I cut one out for my bow accent. You can see a close up below. I love snowflakes and I have numerous snowflake stamps, but no snowflake embellishments, those glittery ones I see all over the place. I did pass a snowflake punch, today, by Martha Stewart, at Michaels. Oh, well. I love the way this one turned out. Vellum is embossed with a snowflake template form Lasting Impressions that I had forever. I added KI Memories ribbon, brads and lace cardstock.
Have a great night and stay warm.
Beautiful! It's so icy with all that white and blue, and the vellum.
ReplyDeleteThis card just feels like a magical Winter Wonderland. I really love it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Daniela ~ love your fussy cut snowflake, and the 'cool & crisp' color scheme!
